Lyudmyla Guslyakova. The founder and director of the Gender Center for Information and Analysis "KRONA" (since 2009). Education: Kharkiv University of Radio and Electronics, Medical Institute of the Ukrainian Folk Medicine Association (Kyiv, 2006-2010), international schools, workshops for trainers (2002-2008). Lyudmyla has been a project coordinator of Kharkiv Women's Organization "KRONA" and the Gender Center “KRONA” (2000-2011), coordinator of the Gender magazine "Ya" (2003-2011). She’s a national expert on gender policy and coordinator of the Gender Expert Platform based on the Gender Center “KRONA”. Ms Guslyakova is an experienced trainer of many years, a supervisor and trainer of the European Union project “The rights of women and children in Ukraine: a communication component”.
Tetiana Bureychak – PhD in sociology (2007), Associate Professor of History and Theory of Sociology on History Department, Lviv National Ivan Franko University, MA in Sociology (University of Edinburgh, UK, 2005). Tatiana teaches several author’s gender courses. Among them are “Sociology of Gender”, “Gender and Mass Media” and “Sociology of Masculinity”. Her scientific contribution comprises more than 20 scientific papers. His research interests include issues related to gender identities and representations, masculinity and men's experience in Soviet and post-Soviet period, consumer culture and nationalism. She was on long research training abroad, particularly in Hungary (Central European University), Sweden (Department of Gender Studies, University Linchopinha), USA (Harvard Ukrainian Research Institute). Scholarship research programs OSI / FCO-Chevening (2003), AFP / HESP (2005-2008), Visby (2009), Shklar (2010) and others. Tetyana is a member of editorial board for international scientific journal "Culture, Society and Masculinity". Ms Bureychak participates in activity of different gender centers - Gender expert platform “KRONA”, Research Center “Women and Society” and a leading center for gender studies GEXcel (Linchopinha University, Sweden).
Tamara Zlobina – PhD in philosophy (2010), art critic and art curator. Main areas of professional interests: nationalism and gender studies, history and practice of contemporary feminist movement, modern art. Co-editor of magazine and the website on social criticism "Common" (http://commons.com.ua/, sections of contemporary art and feminism), creator and curator of "Feminism is ..." (http://feminismis.com/). Worked with such editions as "Criticism" (Kyiv), "Perekrestky" (Vilnius), informational-analytical “Ukrainian Journal” (Prague), Ukrainian Weekly (Kyiv), "Visual Art", "Corridor", Art-Ukraine (Kyiv) and others.
Dr. Oksana Kis – PhD in History (specialization in Ethnology), Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Ethnology, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (in Lviv), Associate Professor at Ukrainian Free University (Munich), President of the Ukrainian Association for Research in Wemen's History", Head of the Lviv Research center "Woman and Society" (NGO). Resides in the city of Lviv. Since 1994 her academic interests focus on women's history and feminist anthropology of Ukrainians, her book "Women in the Traditional Ukrainian Culture, second half of the 19th - early 20th centuries" was published in Lviv in 2008. She authored over 50 articles published scholarly journals in Ukraine and abroad. Currently Dr. Kis is researching women's historical experiences in Ukraine by means of oral history. Dr. Kis taught the course "Women in Post-Socialist Transformations in Ukraine, Poland and Russia" at Columbia University in 2010. As a visiting professor, she is teaching original courses on women's history, feminist anthropology, gender studies, and oral history at Ukrainian Catholic University (Lviv) and Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
Yulia Kobikova. Education: Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs (KNUIA), master degree in psychology. She’s a practical psychologist, consultant and trainer. Since 2008 Yulia is a lecturer of Psychology Department within the KNUIA Research Institute of Mass Communications. She’s lecturing the following psychological disciplines: the only existing course “Gender Psychology”, “Psychological Culture of Personality”, “Psychology of Advertisement” etc. Ms Kobikova is an author of more than 20 academic, journalistic and educational articles. Research interests: gender psychology, personality values and consulting practice. Yulia is a trainer of the Gender Center “KRONA” and an expert of KRONA’s Gender Expert Platform (since 2011).
Maria  Mayerchyk – PhD in history, ethnologist,  research associate of Institute of Ethnology National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, co-founder of NGO  “Center for Cultural-Anthropological  Studies”, senior lecturer at  Culturology Department of National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, fellow of Fulbright Program (USA, 2007-2008) and fellow of post-doctoral program at University of Alberta  (Canada, 2008-2009). Authors of scholarly publications, social-political papers, editor of volumes of scholarly papers “Thanatos” (1996), “Body in Texts of Culture” (2003), “Ukrainian Folkloristic in Canada: Modern Vision of Traditional, Traditional Vision of Modern” (2010). She developed the courses of lectures about body and sexuality, youth culture and subcultures, feminist and queer theory, and taught in Franko Lviv National University and National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. Her scholarly interests include gender analysis of traditional and urban cultures, analysis of gender and sexual politics in early soviet time and post-soviet space. Lyudmyla Males – PhD in Sociology (Kyiv Shevchenko National University, 2003), lecturer in Kyiv Shevchenko National University (since 1999). Since 2007 she is an assistant professor on theory and history of sociology in Kiev Shevchenko National University (KShNU). The author of courses “History and theory of gender studies”, “Family Sociology”, “Theory of Socio-Cultural and Gender Identities” which now are taught in KShNU. Ms Males is active participant of many research projects on gender issues. She is proficient in gender expertise. Since 2008 Lyudmyla is a doctoral candidate on sociology faculty of KShNU. She has over 80 different publications. Research interests: socio-cultural analysis, gender theory and methodology, urbanity. In 2000-2006 she was a member of Kyiv Institute for Gender Studies. Since 2009 Ms Males is an expert of the Gender Expert Platform "KRONA".
Oleg Marushchenko – PhD in sociology (Kharkiv Karazin National University, 2004). The title of his PhD thesis is “The establishment of innovative education in Ukraine”. Since 2001 Oleg has been working in Kharkiv National Medical University (KhNMU). Since 2008 Mr. Marushchenko is an associate professor of the Philosophy Department (lecturer of philosophical and sociological disciplines). Since 2009 he’s the dean of the KhNMU preparatory department for foreign citizens. Oleg is the author of more than 50 academic, journalistic and educational articles. Research interests have been focusing on gender in Ukrainian education. Since 2010 he’s a trainer of the Gender Center "KRONA" (a training program for educators) and an expert of KRONA’s Gender Expert Platform.
Tamara Martsenyuk is a sociologist. Her research focuses on the social structure of society and, particularly, on gender relations. Besides studying in Ukraine and getting a PhD in Social Structure and Social Relations, Tamara has experience studying and conducting research in Sweden, USA, Norway, Hungary, Germany, Estonia, Canada, Check Republic, Finland etc. Tamara teaches at the Department of Sociology at theNational University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” (Kyiv, Ukraine). Her courses include “Sociological Analysis of the Forms of Deviant Behavior”, “Masculinity and Men’s Studies”, “Gender and Politics”, “Social Problems in Ukraine and in the World”, “Gender Relations in Ukraine: Sociological Analysis” etc. She is the author of 30 scientific papers as well as a number of articles in popular publications. In addition to gender equality implementation in Ukrainian society, her other research and activist interest surround the promotion of diversity, overcoming xenophobia and racism. Tamara is an activist for the Ukrainian chapter of International human rights movement “Amnesty International”. She participated in the "Diversity Initiative" project of the International Organization of Migration in Ukraine on curriculum development and textbook writing on multicultural society.
Olga Plakhotnik. Education: PhD in social philosophy (Kharkiv National Aerospace University "KhAI", 2004), master degree in sociology of gender studies (European Humanities University, Lithuania, 2007). Olga also has a master degree in psychology (Kharkiv Gorky State University, 1991). Since 2002 Ms Plakhotnik is a senior lecturer and assistant professor in Philosophy Department of "KhAI". Since 2010 Olga is also a senior lecturer in Sociology Department of Kharkiv Karazin National University. She has over 100 different academic and educational publications. Research interests: gender theory and methodology, philosophy of education, socio-philosophical study of sexuality. Since 2003 Olga is a Board member of Kharkiv women's organization "KRONA" (since 2009 – the Gender Center for Information and Analysis "KRONA"). Since 2005 she’s a member of Editorial Board for the Gender magazine "Ya". Olga Plakhotnik is an expert of KRONA’s Gender Expert Platform.
Ganna Khrystova. Education: PhD in law (Kharkiv Yaroslav the Wise National Law Academy, 2005). Since 2008 Ganna is an assistant professor in Theory of State and Law Department of the Kharkiv Law Academy. Ms Khrystova is an expert on legal issues of a comprehensive law to combat human trafficking in Ukraine (project "Strengthening of the national referral mechanisms for victims of human trafficking in Ukraine). Since 2008 she’s a member of the national expert group to improve legislation on equal rights and opportunities and the prevention of domestic violence (within the Ministry of Family, Youth and Sports of Ukraine). Ganna has been awarded by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "For the achievements of youth in Ukraine’s development" (2007). Since 2001 Ganna is an activist of Kharkiv women's organization "KRONA" (since 2009 – the Gender Center for Information and Analysis "KRONA"). Ganna Khrystova is an expert of KRONA’s Gender Expert Platform.
