Our experience shows that distance learning solves a range of important issues:
• It involves a greater number of participants regardless of their place of residence;
• It substantially reduce expenditure for full-time educational activities;
• It realizes a concept of "continuing education" gradually introducing additional levels of training;

• It implements new technologies in education and in the media work;
• It creates a "virtual community" of journalists united by common areas of work and life values.
