Lyudmyla Guslyakova
The founder and director of the Gender Center for Information and Analysis "KRONA" (since 2009). Education: Kharkiv University of Radio and Electronics, Medical Institute of the Ukrainian Folk Medicine Association (Kyiv, 2006-2010), international schools, workshops for trainers (2002-2008). Lyudmyla has been a project coordinator of Kharkiv Women's Organization "KRONA" and the Gender Center “KRONA” (2000-2011), and the gender magazine "Ya" (2003-2011). She’s a national expert on gender policy and coordinator of the Gender Expert Platform based on the Gender Center “KRONA”.Ms Guslyakova is an experienced trainer of many years, a supervisor and trainer of the European Union project “The rights of women and children in Ukraine: a communication component”.
Anton Aloshyn
Education: Donetsk National University (2007), master degrees in international relations (major) and foreign language translation (minor); distance learning course of Media Law Institute (Kyiv, 2009). Anton is an alumni of the USAID Community Connections Program "Public Journalism" (San Diego, USA, 2010). He has participated in the international seminar "The Future of Journalism" (Potsdam, Germany, 2008) and “School of NGO leaders” (Warsaw, Poland, 2007). Since 2010 Anton is a media projects manager and human rights coordinator within the Gender Center for Information and Analysis "KRONA". He’s responsible for the elaboration and implementation of media projects, support of KRONA’s Media Center, administration of organization’s website and the implementation of advocacy initiatives.
Yulia Kobikova
Education: Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs (KNUIA), master degree in psychology. She’s a practical psychologist, consultant and trainer. Since 2008 Yulia is a lecturer of Psychology Department within the KNUIA Research Institute of Mass Communications. She’s lecturing the following psychological disciplines: the only existing course “Gender Psychology”, “Psychological Culture of Personality”, “Psychology of Advertisement” etc. Ms Kobikova is an author of more than 20 academic, journalistic and educational articles. Research interests: gender psychology, personality values and consulting practice. Yulia is a trainer of the Gender Center “KRONA” and an expert of KRONA’s Gender Expert Platform (since 2011).
Oleg Marushchenko
Education: PhD in sociology (Kharkiv Karazin National University, 2004). The title of his PhD thesis was “The establishment of innovative education in Ukraine”.Since 2001 Oleg has been working in Kharkiv National Medical University (KhNMU). Since 2008 Mr. Marushchenko is an associate professor of the Philosophy Department (lecturer of philosophical and sociological disciplines). Since 2009 he’s the dean of the KhNMU preparatory department for foreign citizens. Oleg is the author of more than 50 academic, journalistic and educational articles. Research interests have been focusing on gender in Ukrainian education. Since 2010 he’s a trainer of the Gender Center "KRONA" (a training program for educators) and an expert of KRONA’s Gender Expert Platform.
Svetlana Nesterenko
Education: Kharkiv Karazin National University (master degree in economy, 2002). Since 2004 she’s been working as an accountant of Kharkiv women's organization "KRONA" and the Gender Center "KRONA".
Olga Plakhotnik
Education: PhD in social philosophy (Kharkiv National Aerospace University "KhAI", 2004), master degree in sociology of gender studies (European Humanities University, Lithuania, 2007). Olga also has a master degree in psychology (Kharkiv Gorky State University, 1991). Since 2002 Ms Plakhotnik is a senior lecturer and assistant professor in Philosophy Department of "KhAI". Since 2010 Olga is also a senior lecturer in Sociology Department of Kharkiv Karazin National University. She has over 100 different academic and educational publications. Research interests: gender theory and methodology, philosophy of education, socio-philosophical study of sexuality. Since 2003 Olga is a Board member of Kharkiv women's organization "KRONA" (since 2009 – the Gender Center for Information and Analysis "KRONA"). Since 2005 she’s a member of Editorial Board for the Gender magazine "Ya". Olga Plakhotnik is an expert of KRONA’s Gender Expert Platform.
Mykola Sukhomlyn
Education: Kharkiv Karazin National University (master degree in journalism). Mykola is a professional journalist, media expert, media trainer, member of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine. He has 17-year media experience, 13 of them as the chief editor deputy, managing editor and chief editor. Expert of Web 3.0. Mr. Sukhomlyn is an owner of media company "MediaUkraine" and the founder of an online media network for more then 2000 Ukrainian journalists. Mykola is a media coordinator of the Gender Center for Information and Analysis "KRONA", the author of textbooks for journalists “Gender View” and “Gender View. Part 2” and the media coordinator of the Gender magazine "Ya". Mykola Sukhomlyn is also a consultant and media trainer of the European Union project “The rights of women and children in Ukraine: a communication component”.
Ganna Khrystova
Education: PhD in law (Kharkiv Yaroslav the Wise National Law Academy, 2005). Since 2008 Ganna is an assistant professor in Theory of State and Law Department of the Kharkiv Law Academy. Ms Khrystova is an expert on legal issues of a comprehensive law to combat human trafficking in Ukraine (project "Strengthening of the national referral mechanisms for victims of human trafficking in Ukraine). Since 2008 she’s a member of the national expert group to improve legislation on equal rights and opportunities and the prevention of domestic violence (within the Ministry of Family, Youth and Sports of Ukraine). Ganna has been awarded by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "For the achievements of youth in Ukraine’s development" (2007). Since 2001 Ganna is an activist of Kharkiv women's organization "KRONA" (since 2009 – the Gender Center for Information and Analysis "KRONA"). Ganna Khrystova is an expert of KRONA’s Gender Expert Platform.
